Rescheduling is totally understandable, as long as you give us at least one week's notice. If you reschedule with less than one full week’s notice, you will forfeit your deposit. If you booked makeup, you will need to pay 15% of the makeup fee to the HMU artist. You may only reschedule to a date that is within a six month period from your initial scheduled date.

Cancellation forfeits your deposit.

We strongly recommend professional makeup for everyone, but it is not mandatory. If you’d like to have your makeup done, you must use one of our trusted professional makeup artist. We have a great network of professional makeup artists we have worked with on everything from editorial fashion to natural elegant portraits. Our artists understand makeup for lens, and our style which will get you the best result possible!

If you do not normally wear makeup, please DO NOT attempt to do your own makeup. Professional make up is strongly recommended to achieve the best result for your investment in yourself or project.

If you do normally wear makeup, you are free to do your own makeup but should do it how you normally do it everyday or how you would for an important meeting, casting, or event.

We only do this to provide you the best shots possible.  

 You may have had times in the past where you have used a professional makeup artist for photoshoots and it didn’t turn out well. Maybe it was too much, wasn’t authentic to you, or just not a good experience.  We totally understand that.

That’s why we only work with professional artists who we have a strong working relationship with. We have worked closely with them and have seen first hand how professional and warm they are with every client that sits in their chair.

*IF YOU BOOK MAKEUP for headshots/ portraits: it is up to you to speak up and communicate how you do your makeup and what is “you” when it comes to makeup. We are happy to make suggestions and collaborate, but ultimately it is up to you to communicate your specific needs.

We do not allow outside makeup artists to accompany you during your shoot. If you are wanting another artist do your makeup and hair, please arrive with your HMU already completed. We will give you time before your shoot and during changes to touch-up.

Yes, a non-refundable deposit is due upon booking to secure your session. 

This goes toward your session and the remaining balance is due the day of your session before we start.

Please be sure to triple check your schedule for conflicts as once the deposit is paid, it will not be refunded.

*One “look” can include anything from a T-shirt to a more layered option. Adding or removing a sweater, jacket, or glasses does NOT constitute a separate look, however, only one add-on/removal allowed per look.

Yes, for social media, website and promotion for small projects. For album covers, book covers, and other commercial uses, please contact us about it first, as we'll need to discuss a licensing agreement.

Friends, family and pets are not allowed to accompany you during your session. We’ve found it’s best to connect and keep things focused if it is just you who is present in your session, please trust us. We would love to meet your best friend or fur babies, but your photo session isn’t the best place. It is, however, okay for a guardian to be present if you are 18 years of age or younger

If there are any special circumstances that you might need accompaniment for please let us know ahead of time. We like to be accommodating to and needs regarding accessablitiy so please let us know of anything ahead of time.

We 100% expect you to be on-time for your session appointment. We respect your time and ask that you respect ours, too.  

We allow a 20 minute grace period as a courtesy. Please contact us with information provided on booking processes if you are going to arrive late. If you arrive 30 minutes late, we will have to deduct 1 look from your session at the same rate. If you know you will be more than 30 minutes late, please contact us - you will need to reschedule and pay a new deposit. If you are a no call/no show, we will not refund you and we will not work with you again.

For Portrait and Lifestyle sessions depending on the volume of the shoot and your package the time varies. You will receive your private gallery of downloadable images within 5-7 business days but during high volume times it can be 1-2 weeks. *Rush 48 hour delivery for the initial proof album is $175. 

Turnaround on retouched shots is usually around 3-5 days. *Rush 48 hour delivery for retouched images is available for $50 per image.

We strive to be as timely as possible without sacrificing the care and quality of the work.

Commercial sessions turn around time is discussed and agreed upon with client in planning.

Portaits/ Lifestyle : No. We do not offer reshoots. We are happy to do limited revisions on case by case basis regarding things like retouching and small preferences, but it is up to us.

Full reshoots are subject to full rate.
